I can't believe I'm a Lambo owner. Pics of my new Superleggera
Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. 172 were produced, with 10 in white, 34 in grey, 37 in black, 45 in yellow and 46 in orange. As of this evening, I own one of the 37 now.
Let me warn you, I'm going to be a little sentimental here.
I just got back from my first drive and I'm speechless. Physically, I'm still recovering from it all and my brain is trying to process the sound and speed. This is not a 997S. Everything from the way it looks and sounds and drives, it's a pure exotic. Driving this car is an experience.
Emotionally I can't even believe this is mine. I set a goal for myself when I was in college that by age 30 I would own a Ferrari. I'm a couple years early, and I went for a bull instead of a horse. I worked my butt off for every dime and for the first time I decided to really go all out and reward myself.
I'm humbled by this experience and I won't even try to hide it. I can't believe it. Thanks to everyone on TS that helped me out behind the scenes, esp LABrit, Cstroked for running carfaxes daily, and Orlando. I couldn't have done it without you.
Ok enough babble, you guys want pics. I have a video of it coming off the truck (I've always wanted to do this) and I'll upload it on youtube shortly. These pics are ok, MiniD is going to do a proper photoshoot next weekend.
I hope you enjoy, I really am at a loss for words (but look at how much i wrote). Also, I have the OEM SL wheels, Jox-- be nice.
Here's the video of it coming off the truck. I'm still getting used to the extra attention. A car detail guy stopped and offered me his card as it was unloading. You can tell he was surprised it was mine. Hell, I'm even surprised it's mine.
