I like it......
Why is it 10HP less? What is different?
I know it looks like the rest mostly, but they did say it has diff. tires, suspension, ect ect.
Its not just a 560 with the driveshaft removed.....

A proper lambo from the factory, finally...10hp less, so what...i'd prefer the lesser weight. It's not like most ppl can drive this car comfortably on the limit all day long at the track anyways. Sign me up for one in black with a matte black stripe, and lose the factory exhaust for a couple of cat bypass pipes to nab back that 10hp for those that really care about bench racing.

What?! A new limited edition run from Lamborghini? But it can't be. Lamborghini surely is not the type of company that only releases Limited editions...oh wait.
Soon we will have the Lambo Murcielago Jenna Jameson edition with fluffy handcuffs attached to the steering wheel and a dildo as a gear lever. Or perhaps the Lambo Gallardo spyder Douchebag Edition that comes with its own lawyer, blonde girldfirend and a Von Dutch cap.

You are not seeing the "lone standing" tree in this forest...
Mr V is retired and is on private contract with Lambo...as such they wanted to caplatize on his name and departure from the company..BUT knowing Mr V, he would not allow the release of his name on this brand without a specific requirment of the vehicle to be the way they were as he knew them and loved them, true manual shift gate with a rear wheel drive...as in the Miura,Countach, early Diablo' and GT of 1999/2000 as well as his stated "favorite the 1994 SE30.
Lambo and Mr V are happy, they all make some money and he gets the last for his "deserving followers" of all these years.
When he his done in less than 2 years, and after this car is sold out...Lambo will then be able to move onto where they want to take the company...with out the fear of continued questions and comments of "return" to the good old days..BUT not only will Lambo be doing this, others as well, F cars, P cars...all the good ones are doing away with the "customer" wants....and in the real world they HAVE to in order to stay competive and profitable...yet the result is possible a car that does not cater to our old ways...it is a new generation coming on us "old duffers" fast...
I have said for 5 years now, and will say again..come 5-10 years from know...and you will hear.
"Remember when you could buy a great Diablo for $150-$175K..?.darn shoulod have got one then, didnt the same thing happen to the Miura???"

Thanks a lot for that info D55L, I would pick the blue or maybe the green one, not sure yet
I've been thinking about the developement of the Gallardo models and it hit me that this is sort of the Gallardo SE but for the LP-560. At least I hope it is, because that would mean that the Superleggera might still come. I still love this design though and I'm sure the testers will love this car for its demanding setup and more driver orientated features

even if it puts out 10 hp less to the crank, it certainly produces more power at the wheels due to less drivetrain losses. Weight savings are equally important. I would love to see a race between the LP550-2 and the LP560-4

I thought the same but the I saw the top speed was only 320km/h compared to the LP560's 325km/h. I thought that was surprising since two wheelers are often a bit slower in the start due to traction problems but faster at top speed.
