Difference between a 2005 vs 2006+ Gallardo?

Can anyone list the difference between a 2005 vs 2006 Gallardo?

I know the 06 has more horsepower and sounds better, and the egear and clutch is better (but I want a 6-speed manual anyway). Are there any other differences major or minor in the interior/exterior or performance?

Tuuner is not allowed to post in this thread. Thanks in advance!

I think the gear ratios are also shorter on the 06+ cars. I think the steering wheel was updated in '07 along with the addition of some more interior options. Having driven both, I highly recommend getting an 06 or later G.

06 models get the front lift kit standard. I think it was an option on late 05 models.
Like Ara said, the ratios are shorter (in fact 1st gear is 23% shorter) and the exhaust is different.

06 is far better from what I heard. Better gearing and better steering. Along with better sound. They are just the production version of the '05 SE ...
Get it, stop pansying around.

I think the SEs were also '06 models, though earlier production. Also, iirc, the Callisto wheels were introduced with the '06, along with the back up camera.

Thanks for the input. I like the SE in Balloon white but those seem to be harder to find. I'm on the hunt! Anyone here selling one?

I love the SEs. You can't go wrong with an SE in white, green, yellow, or orange. Even the gray looks great. If you can find a clean, low mile SE priced right, that would be the way to go IMO.

GL finding white SE with 6MT.

Just get a white G 6MT and get black vinyl for the roof. I now you'll get an LP or RSC front anyway!
I don't like the interior of SE's anyway. And they are the same cars pretty much (options and power).

I've narrowed it down to Balloon White (which I'll never find), Black, and graphite. I really am very self conscious about this decision and I don't want it to be too flashy (yellow, orange, green)
