I saw a request in another thread for some build photos of a start to finish twin turbo upgrade. This Superleggera belongs to Alex at SP Engineering which will be our west coast dealer / installer.

We wanted to go about this build in a very scientific manner. It seemed to be a god idea to document the differences between the Superleggera and a standard Gallardo so the first thing we did was weigh the car.

It seems that the Superleggera is around two hundred pounds lighter than a standard Gallardo!

The next thing we did was dyno the car to see if it made any more power than usual. It does! It seems that this car makes another twenty five or so to the wheels.

Then it was time to start disassembling it.



I will also get going on some pictures of the turbo system itself being built as well as the engine as it goes along.

I always thot the clutch was on the other end on Gallardos.
Is it the same for the Murci (Lp640?)

The murci clutch is toward the front of the engine with the transmission sitting between the two seats. More pics to come.
