Nice review, not biased in anyway.

Good write up..... two good cars.... not great by any measure as in Mclaren F1, or the F40 of this world but these two cars have made their claims and they're damn fast! ZR1 should get the all around nod at the track. Drag race may be even.... style, cmon, the preverbial "doors swing up... panties fall". Bottom line, both have passionate followers and both camps have their valid points.... but both can come to consensus that the ZR1 and LP640 are fast and the best that each brand can offer. I wish I could have both.... but in this economy, its almost "insensitive" to pull up in a LP640. ZR1 purcase seems a bit patriotic, just my .02.

Spot on with that comment but once again it comes back to the circles you run in. Look at that 997 that had the Shit beat out of it by the Giants fan. I honestly do not think they would touch a ZR1 if it was next to it. I see the ZR1 as an ordinary day mans super car. I work in a blue collar environment and can honestly say I would never drive my old Boxster S to a customers shop but I would drive a ZR1 because outside of us car guys most people would not know the difference. Perception matters a ton.

i must of missed that story. a 997 got trashed? in any case. if i had a LP640, i wouldn't leave it alone long enough to get beat up on. i would hate to even think someone would vandalize it.

i saw the zr1 this weekend in person and I must say that I really liked it (except for the plastic on the bonnet). It is a bargain for the price.
