The LP670-4 or whatever it will be named is what Lambo has been doing ever since VW took over, a corporate product with a marketing purpose. IE, keep the interest in the Murcielago platform alive until the successor comes around. Profitable, yes, soul-destroying ... oh yes!

The Zonda does not live by corporate laws. It is the result of passion. It has no other purpose but to represent a car guy's vision. The Zonda does not live by its spec sheet, that's why it is timeless and already a classic.

Murcielago and Zonda ... comparable. Pfff!

This might be the car I will be viewing and getting official details of it from Stefan Winkelmann himself.

Your probably right its not comparable. But at the end of the day Lamborghini makes money and unfortunately the passionate car like the Zonda won't be around long if they follow passion only. It happens to almost every corporate sports car company. Look at Porsche, they have lost their passion a long time ago. Lamborghini was all about passion but now they realize to survive in this world they need to make some real money too.

I have seen the concept of the car first hand and given the actual specifications by Stefan Winkelmann himself.. However I had to sign a confidentiality agreement not to expose the actual details about the car itself. But I think its ok to say that the rear spoiler is a work of art itself! Extremely functional in design! The wheels are an amazing piece of work for stock wheels. The best wheel design ever for a Lamborghini. The picture at the top of this thread is no representation of the actual car, think F1 design. It is extremely fast, other than the Veyron I believe it is the fastest to 60mph and beyond. Very lightweight, with a better HP to weight ratio than anything else on the market. The Murcielago will go out with a big bang!

Does the look differ from the LP640? I mean if I care most about the look, would it be justifiable to pay such money?
Did they mention how much it will be? I know the 25% thing but how much will it be?

Yes it is different looking than the LP640. The front and rear is beautiful. Like I said think F1. Yes it will be the most expensive Lamborghini available at the time of its release. As for the interior new seats, steering wheel, gauge cluster, center console, materials, etc.
