I've wondered this with my V1...so how long does it take for them to get a read? It looks like it would be difficult to hit a flat rebound spot. If my V1 goes off, are they usually searching for a good hit or are they pretty accurate as soon as they pull the trigger? Must be more difficult to get certain vehicles too?

If you're V1 goes off you might as well start looking for your paperwork as you're about to get a ticket

Laser is almost instant. They generally aim for the headlights, mirrors, or the front bumper or plate (if you have one). Takes less than a second. You'd never have enough time to slow down.

radar + jammer

I am looking for the best radar and jammer.

If I go with the V1 plus the quad LI (maybe extra power). I would want both permanently installed in my '07 997TT.

The key is I want the best quality and the cleanest install.

Thanks.

Doesn't it need to hold or get a certain amount of readings though? I know I have been lasered when going way over & just about put my passenger through the windshield hitting the brakes. I didn't get a ticket.

4 more days and then it's over.

There is going to be a demo tomorrow at the Tampa Cars and Coffee at the Dupont Registry.

It generally takes about a second or less to get a reading. I don't think you have big enough brakes and that kind of reaction time to pull it off. You just got lucky

I'm running the V1 with the front LI. Best combo IMO.

3 days left gentleman.

We actually went out and did a demo today the Dupont Registry Cars and Coffee event.
Dupont is teamed up with Boulevard Customs (BC) and they had some of their customer's laser jammer equipped vehicles there and wanted to see how they compared to the Laser Interceptor. Not to mention none of these cars had ever been tested before and the owners were curious. BC currently carries Escort, Blinder, and K40 if I'm not mistaken.

F430 Spyder equipped with a Blinder unit front and rear
Maserati GT equipped with a brand new K40 unit front and rear
Chevy Z06 equipped with at least Blinder fronts. I'm not sure if it had rears or not.

Anyway, all three cars were nailed with relative ease, coming and going. The K40 car was really sad! Cliff from LI brought a number of guns and used the easiest one to jam to give the other brands a fighting chance. Cliff let the other bystanders/installers shoot the gun to keep it legit. The guy in the 430 was pissed...

Cliff was asked about demo'ing his vehice and it was brought up he might have a ringer. Cliff offered up mine instead. I did 4-5 passes with various bystanders shooting with zero punch throughs and complete jam to guns.

For any doubters, feel free to call Boulevard Customs and ask for Spike. He is one of the installers there and did a lot of the shooting. My guess is that he'll be retailing them in the very near future
