CPO is worth it. I ended up with new PZeros, new brake pads, etc. The car looks and drives like new...

So am I to conclude a Porsche not being sold as CPO may have issues the dealer is aware of but not willing to fix? Why not CPO every used Porsche ?

 

It's very pricey for the dealership to do it. They would not CPO my old 997.2 because the margin was too narrow (i.e. they'd have to spend more than it was worth to CPO it). I use this example because my C4S was MINT - it was a perfect car, so I was shocked it wouldn't get CPO'ed. The worst part? I sold it to Carmax. Bottom line, the dealer is going to charge you for CPO, but it buys peace of mind.
