Did the R8 and S4 share the same engine?

 

^^To a very large degree yes. The RS4 engine is what ended up in the R8, and the spyker iirc falls between the two(s4 and rs4) in tuning (even though I think the power is still at 420).

 

it's the same engine. they've whored it out for evar!

 

Hm.. Sechs, that's what I thought, except for some reason I didn't think it produced 420hp.

 

I think the engine is "rated" at 400 hp, but I wouldnt be surprised if it made more...here is something I found on it.
