Nice car GLWS. If you dont drive them, dont own them, own what you can drive and enjoy! Looking at cars in a garage is useless I just dont get that.

Marc, that is why I am trying to simplify my life and sell some of the cars I am not using as much as I should. However, there is also nothing wrong of owning a car you value as a work of art, admire it in the privacy of your garage and take out on an occasional ride. This world takes all kinds of folks and that is what makes it so interesting! If it wasn't the case, there would be no need for Teamspeed or many other forums like this one!

Credit Man, I don't discriminate against 'real' VW Beetles. In fact, I am taking my wife next week on a extended, leisurely drive up to our second home in Colorado in our very original 1974 VW Convertible! A real Super Beetle built at Karmann Osnabrück - not one of those fancy, schmancy rear-engined copy-cats from Zuffenhausen!

PS I am leaving there for use in the mountains. Taking a chance with no air bags so we are choosing only dual lane highways and driving only during daytime. Still, wish us luck!
