Seller's Notes:
1998 Lotus Esprit Twin Turbo V8. The car is available with both the factory high torque ECU and the Lotus red racing ECU. The stock ECU supports the standard rated output of 350hp, and the red ECU adds a safe 100hp bringing it to 450hp. The red ECU is a factory part, not a modified aftermarket chip, these are increasingly hard to find and are selling upwards of $2,000.The radiator has been upgraded to an aluminum racing unit. HKS blow off valves, that take stress off of the Turbos and allow them to spool up much faster once back on the throttle. Alpine CD player with MP3 capabilities Hard wired for a Valentine one radar detector All of the windows have been professionally tinted with Formula One ceramic film with the windshield at 50%, and the side glass at 35%. Comes with both glass and hard top. Upgraded shifter assembly with the late model boot and shift surround. The stock GM supplied steering wheel has been replaced with a much better looking and ergonomic Momo wheel (the original steering wheel goes with the sale). Exhaust outputs have been upgraded to the later model center outputs with the cheese grader valance. Two different exhaust systems, one stock, and the other with high performance mufflers with cat bypass pipes. Lotus Esprit Twin Turbo V8 Super clean, well maintained, This car has had all of the correct updates to make one of the most reliable high performance Lotus Esprit V8's currently available. The upgrades include: Forged pistons and hardened head studs, new gaskets and seals at 22,000 miles. Car has recently had clutch, shocks, slave cylinder, and tires replaced.
