2001 911 turbo with mods seal gray/gray interior
#1
Hey guys, well I am not sure if I want to do this but lately I have been getting the urge to stop speeding around and getting in trouble so I decided that I am going the track route better.
I am not sure this is the right car to start tracking so I am posting it for sale/trade, I would trade it for a $20K to $25K SUV plus cash or for an older 930 or 964 Porsche Street/track car.
I just drove the car from NJ to Mont-Tremblant in Canada and back with no issues (little under 1K miles) this weekend, the car drove like a champ the whole way.
History of the car and mods:
90% of the mods were done by the previous owner. He owned the car for 5 years and drove it less than 6K miles during that period. The car was always garaged and it is a California car so it never saw any winters and it has not seen it’s first winter here in the east coast (keeping it in storage or garaged with cover this year).
I am not sure of how much power it is putting down, I am going to try to Dyno it soon but from speculations by knowledgeable people it should be in the high 500 to low 600 rwhp.
The car has never been on a track of any sort as far as I know. I have done a few highway pulls but have always been very careful with the car.
This car is way too nice to hack up but if it does not sell you will see it at every track event I hear of next year.
Engine:
-GT2860rs
-Protomotive tune
-630 cc Siemens injectors
-Innovative pro design Intake plenum w/ 75mm throttle body

-custom waste gates
-GT2 fuel pump
-Custom Billet Diverter Valves
Maintenance in the last 2K miles:
-new sparkplugs and coil packs
-New alternator
-mobile 1 5w-40
-Checked car for boost leaks and tightened all the lines.
-New Battery
-Will include a Durametrics enthusiast cable for data logging and trouble shooting.
Exhaust:
-FVD Straight pipes (would include Cargraphic exhaust with 100 cell cats)
-Ceramic Coated/Ported/Polished Headers
Suspension & Wheels and drive train:
-RWD conversion (can be reversed)
-GT2 clutch
-JIC Cross 15 way adjustable Coilover Suspension
-HRE 542R Wheels with seal grey centers (19x8.5F & 19x11R)
-Yellow pad (race) brakes
-Powder coated yellow calipers
exterior:
-Mashaw front bumper with OEM gt2 front lip
-Mashaw add on spoiler
-deleted rear wiper
-tinted tail and headlights
-OEM roof rack
-Chrome Porsche Hood Crest
interior:
-B&M SSK
-Custom sound system (10” JL subs, alpine head unit,)
-V1 radar
-Suede wrapped steering wheel
Things the car needs:
-Alarm control module (blew a fuses but has been good for a while now)
-Alignment, will try to get this done soon.
-One of the rear wheels is bent but does not leak, have not fixed it because it would take the clear protection off the wheel but I can have it fixed if necessary.
-Front bumper has small rock chips from highway driving
-Outside temperature sensor
I will have better and detailed pics as soon as I clean the car up this weekend.

The car has 51K+ miles and I am asking $52K for it. Please do not comment on the price, if you do not like it then just move on. I do not need to sell it, I am not in financial ruin so I do not need to sell the car for $30K (I have heard all kinds of offers and gotten weird messages while selling previous cars).
As for the SUVs I would consider, Acura MDX, lexus, audi, infinity or VW. no sports cars or sedans as I will be buying an older porsche as a track/weekend car.

Adam was very generous with this car. He didn't try to save but did everything right. His wife would be happy to testify on that. Good luck.
