1994 PORSCHE Turbo Race Car (Type 965)

This fully-sorted race car started life as a 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6(Type 965). One of 1,437 produced by Porsche using factory motorsports components for racing homologation. This platform has made its mark in Porsche’s motorsport history as it dominated the professional racing scene in the both the European and US racing series. This particular car is a very fine example of Porsche air-cooled turbo race car at its best. Built to conform to IMSA GTS-1 Class at Daytona-24 and FIA LeMans GT Class 1993-1995 spec. This car has never been pro raced (club races only).

NASA GTS Challenge
And certainly a delight to drive this fully-sorted race car in DE’s and track days.
Engine:
Race prepped 3.6L twin-plugged turbo engine, Motronic EFI system, TPC Racing custom intercooler with Wiggins clamps, TPC Racing custom stainless steel race header & exhaust, HKS 50mm racing wastgate, 456whp @ 0.8 bar boost (Endurance Mode), 492whp @ 1.0 bar boost (Qualifying and Sprint Mode). Fresh motor with dyno time only.
Gearbox:
6-speed manual gearbox(993-type), GT2 gearing, Porsche Motorsports GT2 EVO LSD, Porsche Motorsports RSR lightweight flywheel & clutch, Billet aluminum short shifter. Approximately 8 hours on gearbox.
Suspension:
JRZ Professional Racing double-adjustable dampers with RSR valving, Eibach racing springs(mains & tenders), ERP billet aluminum camber plates(front & rear), ERP trailing arm plates, ERP spherical bearings replacing all rubber bushings.
Body:
Custom pro racing spec cage built with 1.75" Dillsburg aircraft tubing, carbon fiber doors, LeMans Turbo S spec carbon fiber quarter panel with 1/4 turn Dzus fasteners, carbon fiber GT2 decklid with EVO wing, Turbo S type front spoiler, Fuel Safe 100 litre(27 gallon) fuel cell.
Additional details:
New Hoosier R6 tires 275/40-17 and 335/35-17, New Hawk Blue Racing brake pads, all fluids are fresh; Redline synthetic motor & gear oil, SRF brake fluid, fuel cell freshly serviced. Ready to race!
Over $100K invested in upgrades and prep. This is one dynamite air-cooled turbo Porsche race car!! Asking $49K. Also has an open trailer sitting in storage that is available as a package.
Need new seat and harnesses. They are in very good condition but have expired date.
