My family has owned this 1960 Corvette since 1994. We procured it from it's Previous owner near New Orleans.

The car has 68k Original Miles and from what we can tell has the original engine and transmission(had a number of collectors view the car over the years).

The car was restored(cosmetically) in the early 90s. The finish is absolutely beautiful w/a fantasic paint job and the seats were recovered. Some of the chrome might have been redone but all in all it is a solid 8.5-9 car.

Chrome is Mostly original and the Glass appears to be original as well.

Specs:

-283/230 Engine. Routine yearly oil changes regardless of miles(only traveled 8k miles since 1994. When we got the car it had the incorrect carb. We contacted Corvette Specialties in Sykesville, MD and we procured the correct rebuilt car for the car. Runs very well.

-3 Speed Transmission rebuilt <200 miles ago using all NOS Parts. Shifts great w/no odd sounds.

-Not a highly optioned car. Visors, Wheel Covers and Wonderbar(We have it in a box) the car currently has a radio w/a good tape player.

-Has Factory hard top that was repainted along with the car. Installed once since 1994.

Car has traveled to Carlisle every year since we have owned it. Last year, the 50th anniversary of the '60 corvette, there was a showing of the best of the best 60s... our car easily looked as nice as any of those cars.

Flaws:
-The front of the dash(by the windshield) if lifting on the pass side of the dashboard.
-A small chip here and there but overall very good to excellent.
-Small nick near radio.
-Canvas top was new and installed but is remarkably shrunk and will require some fitting to get to fit correctly.


I have attached some photos of the car. I know there are going to be many more that you would prefer to have, such as the engine bay, trunk and such. I have never sold a corvette before. Please let me know exactly what you are looking for and I will happily get you photographs but it may take a day or so since I am not right next to the car.

my mother in law used to have one of these.. that is until she let her brother tinker with it back in the 70's and he destroyed it in a fire.
