FS: 2003 Porsche 911(996) Carrera 4S- $33,500 OBO
#1
I just found out that my mom has terminal cancer, so I am selling my Porsche and most of my watch collection to free up much needed cash for her. This is not an equity sale for me; I merely want the payment gone, and any excess that I make from the sale will go to my mom; period.
The car:
Well, it is in great condition, and currently has about 65k miles on the meter, with no real issues whatsoever since I bought it. The car is seal gray metallic in color, with black leather interior and a black alcantara leather headliner. It had new tires and brakes installed in the last 6-8 months. Something of note: I spend 3 months in Iraq, and maybe 3.5 weeks driving it, then repeat that cycle all year, so the tires probably only have about 3-4k miles on them, at most. They are OEM fitment Conti sports, by the way. I recently (November) replaced the ignition switch, rear brake light switch, and had a full service done; I have always used Mobil 1 full synthetic. It drives like a dream (I know everyone says this, but it really does drive very smooth), especially in the "wonderful" traffic of Southern California.
The alcantara leather headliner is pristine, as are the leather front and rear seats (if you can even call those seats
) and steering wheel. The stereo is the optional BOSE system, with single CD inside and 6-CD changer in the boot. The a/c and heat both work well, as do the front and rear defrosters, and there are no issues with the control panels or missing button. All front and rear floor mats are present, and the glove box and console both work perfectly and lock with no issues, and the ashtray opens and closes as it should with no trouble and is internally lit. (I know a lot of this is mundane, but it saves me from answering it later) The car has EVERY option available that year, minus the Navigation, but you can get aftermarket systems installed for <$1k.
I will be back to the USA/CA on February 19th, but I can complete the sale from here in Iraq if need be. Feel free to email me at ridgessp@yahoo.com or PM me if you would like to talk on the phone about the car.
