1981 BMW M1 (Collector Dream)

1981 BMW M1
- One of 456!
- Approximately 36,500 kilometers.
ProCar body kit (It is one of two cars imported to the U.S. after have the wide body ProCar kit installed by AC Schnitzer)
- Car Cover
- Original cloth to replace seat inserts and other upholstery items in future. - - Original Becker Radio
- Owner’s Manual
- Spare rear and front tire
- Unopened BMW M1, The Story book in English
- BMW M1 repair manual
- Auto die Geschichte machten BMW M1 history book by Lothar Boschen.

Other Details:

Renntech has gone over the car and performed maintenance procedures and some minor modifications on the ignition system to make the car more reliable. They also rebuilt the Kugelfischer injection system.

This M1 was maintained by a German factory trained mechanic, Klaus Gohlke. It has been driven and/or started once per week. The starter has been rebuilt.

New tires were sourced from Europe to be placed on the BBS Motorsport three-piece rims.

The car has no known issues – only slight cosmetic wear issues consistent with its age.

Not a huge modern BMW fan but damn! Ol' skool BMWs like this and the 635CSi are where it's at.

Nice! Can you clarify the miles.....the text says 22,000 but the speedo shows 36,824?
