Trade Heffner Gallardo TT for 997TT TIP + Cash
#14
That would depend on the mileage and year of the cars in question. If you have an 04 G 10K miles with the 60K Heff package...I would say your mid 90's to low 100's for the Gallardo and half the price of the turbo package for a grand total of 120's to 130k ish...a less than 5k miles 08 997 Turbo Tip (more for an 09 tip) is 100-110k and the SPI package is 18k so grand total of 118k-128k...in which case you would have to bring money to the closing based on taking the lower side of your car and the higher side of the Turbo. I guess on a 07 997 Tip/lower-mid mileage you could get into for 80's and in that case 100K total with the SPI package, so you would be correct on the Pcar having to throw cash in.

Ya right..
Super clean late model 04 Gallardo is still a 90-95K car.. Taking it at 90K... and even taking into account that the Ive got 60K into the turbo system, plus 15k into the update , a total mileage of less that 1000 on both turbos systems.. 5k in wheels, 2000 in Gt3 seats, 5k in engine carbon and Sl wing.. 1500 in Sl rear diffuser, 1500 in clear bra.. plus other extras like painted engine covers, brake calipers, tinted lights etc...
All that aside... Taking the low end on the G, 90K, plus just HALF of what the TT system costs... ( I would not accept half, Ive only put 400 miles on the car since it was redone) would still put the very lowend of the car @127,500 WITHOUT factoring in any of the other mods..
Here on 6 speed is an example of a nice 07... Sold for 78K
2007 997TT 139k msrp PCCB sale or trade for White 997TT - 6speedonline.com Forums
On this forum there is a similar car 11k miles UNSOLD at 83k... Both are 6 speeds, whether a TIP is a plus or a minus is yet to be determined.. Even if it was a plus.. it would be worth no more than a few thousand dollars.. Step up a year... 10K additional at best...
So..being generous.. an 07 Tip would be a very low 80s car against mine... A newer 08 would be a 90"s car against mine... As for mods, that would need to be determined over and above, and additionally im not interested in a modded car, moreso a stock car.. I did enjoy that in your equation you consider mods at FULL price, while on mine at half price..

That being said as i said i would not let the car go for 1/2 price in mods.. The car has basicly just been completed. Yes, youd save some money, not to mention shipping charges to Florida, and a few month wait time..
Im not desperate to sell, and will prob just buy a 997TT as Im certain if I get rid of the Gallardo Ill just want another whether I use it or not..

You're nuts to try and get out of it now... Sounds like you got it setup just the way you want it! Maybe pull the kit/mods off, and try and trade it in then, and swap the Turbo kit onto your next Gallardo E-Gear

If it was a bolt on I would do that..
