2001 Speedway White Z06, $18,000

VIN is 1G1YY12S715108306

I am selling my 01 Z06. It is speedway white with black interior. no HUD, no power seats. I would say overall it is a 7.5-8 out of 10. I am very picky though. Most people would never rate it a 7.5 but I don't want to disappoint. I have had my fair share of car deals mis-represented and do not want to do that to anyone. Ill post up the basics and go from there.

77K miles (76xxx)
It is my daily driver and runs great!
vararam
hurst short throw
breathless carbon fiber power duct
lowered on stock bolts
B&B catback quad tip
powdercoated stock wheels with red lip (could get gray ones if you don't like the black)
5% tint on rear window
12.37 at the track with a poor 60' (it has 12.20's in it or better)
compared to my buddies 04, my interior has far less squeaks and rattles for some reason

bad:
the paint is the main reason I rate it so low. it has had the pass side fender resprayed and blended. the fender to hood line is the most noticeable in certain lights. most don't notice until i point it out. it was like this when i got it. no idea why there was paintwork, wish i did.

e brake cable is broken, I could fix it is need be before it is sold. just haven't gotten around to it.

I would say this is an oil burning car like some make them sound. I put in a quart to quart and a half around 3500-4000 miles and change the oil between 4 and 5K miles. always Mobil 1 synthetic

car fax says something about a driver front corner accident ( i can't remember exactly, been a long time since I have seen it) I have no idea what though. I have been all over this car and cannot find anything to make me believe it was hit there. but none the less its on the report.

if it is left outside int he rain, the pass floor board gets damp. I haven't had the time to find the leak, it is common in C5's

Basically I don't have to sell the car. I actually don't want to, but I'm thinking about lightening the bills just to help get into a house. If it doesn't sell, that's fine too. I won't even consider some low ball 15K offer. It is a great car and I make it sound worse than it really is. Here are a few pics and are recent. Thinking in the 19K range.

If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM or you can try calling me. 314--749-6777. If I don't answer (busy at work) leave a message and I will get back to you. Ill answer texts as well. Thanks for looking

Best one I have on my computer right now showing the diff. in color on the fender. it looks more yellow

Your correct, once you drive you, you will be hooked. It is a blast to drive! Unfortuantly a house is a little bit more important right now than a vette

Good looking vette and good luck with the sale. I like your sales tactic of being as honest and thorough as possible.

Wow, I'm surprised to see you're selling it! Seems to be a pretty fair price. Best of luck with the sale and getting into a house, Chris!

oh i see.. well where she lives is a shithole.

when i first bought my car we went for a drive out to Newtown (?) i think thats what its called... its that new-ish neighborhood thats apparently built right on the flood plain? That place was creepy. some of the roads just abruptly became dirt fields and stuff. pleasantville esque.
