Nanny's beater Accord transmission died and it is in such poor shape that I might use it for target practice. Need to replace it with something that is mechanically and electrically sound that will get her to work, to the house and to her home (round trip is about 50 miles per day). The requirements are as follows:

1) Less than $3,000

2) Automatic transmission

3) Seats 4 people at a minimum

4) Needs to have seat belts

5) Straight frame/tub

6) No major body damage

7) Windows, door locks, trunk lock must be in working order

I would like to get a car that will run for at least a couple of years without major repairs to items such as the engine, transmission, drivetrain and suspension. Any thoughts and/or leads would be greatly appreciated.
