Instead of selling, could you retrofit with something like this:

or this

Actually, I think a set of slider steps would prolly be best, but I can only find them for Jeeps:

Really good idea, and I appreciate the help. However, the other factor in the sale is that my wife just bore me a son... our first child. I just had reconstructive shoulder surgery. This high of a reach is hard for me to get his carseat up into the cab. I need something lower either way. Thanks though!

Jared, re-occurring theme here man. Your Rover, Touareg, 911 -- ALL blew up. Maybe you are putting diesel gas in it by accident.

Ah, makes perfect sense.

Congrats on the son!

My wife likes to point that out too!

The Rover was, well, a Rover. The fact that you've had 2 and no issues is more of a surprise than that my transfer case essentially fell out! Am I right guys?

The Touareg V8 was a lemon. Got full cash back out of it from VW, in HOURS. Can't ask for more.

The 911 was, well, that happened. Yup.

Thanks! He's awesome. If he won't sleep, I put him in this truck and drive around the neighborhood! He loves the sounds.

Tri Cities limo for sure. I could probably stop at the Grocery Barn and load up a dozen redneck girls!
