Almost purchased a GT2. Driving one changed my mind. It's quite fast, but it felt mass produced and antiseptic.

I would rather have a 997 GT3 RS or 993 TT. But to each his own!

Good luck with sale.

I'd take that thing over a 430/Scud any day of the week. Awesome car.

Wow! You must really love the GT2, because aren't you the same guy who said you rate Ferrari over women?....

Maybe you just don't like women. But Simba, as they said in Seinfeld, "Not that there is anything wrong with that...."

Yup. However, a "Ferrari" to me is something that involves the driver in the experience of driving. The last thing to come out of Maranello which did that for me was the 355.

The GT2, however, does it to this day. Hence, I'd have it over a 360/430/et al.

And, naught for nothing, my point was that buying a Ferrari is more important than remaining in the good graces of a woman. Not that context and intent are any good reason to avoid a childish shot at one's sexuality, or so it would seem.

Scud>GT2>430 or just about anything else for the price...which is hard for me to say because I'm not really a Ferrari guy at all but there is just something about that scud

But that's out of sheer internet car porno and no real seat time so my opinion only goes so far...

Credit man- if that is your scud in your avatar that looks amazing my friend congrats...

Simba, have you ever really driven these things, much less owned any of them?

I have owned, driven, tracked, and compared P cars and F cars. I love them both! I've owned and tracked (yes tracked) a 335GTB. Owned and tracked a 996 GT2 too, among others. I will be campaigning a 73 RS in the vintage series next year.

Very few, if anyone, who really has driven a Scud and compared it to other cars would proclaim, as you did, that a Scud is "devoid of soul". Everyone is entitled to an opinion, however. Hey, some people think Elvis is alive and working at a Burger King!

As far as my "childish shot", I am sorry, but it was a joke man, lighten up.

YouTube - Seinfeld "Are George and Jerry Gay"

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy New Year everyone!

Yes, in fact I have. Perhaps when I have time I'll write my thoughts on the cars in more detail, but this has been more than enough thread-jacking in this instance.

I maintain: The GT2 is an amazing car, and this one is one of the best examples I've seen. Someone will be very happy with it.

You're welcome to come to Road America next year and drive my Scud. If after some spirited driving you still feel it has no soul, we can disagree over a beer or soda at Siebkins in Elkhart Lake! Best.

That was fun, thanks for the quick detour!

Back on topic, this car hasn't been driven in quite some time. It is in a climate controlled garage next to a CGT, GT3 RS, Audi R8, a 70s RSR... and the list goes on. They all get started regularly and are taken perfect care of.

Someone will be more than happy with this beautiful machine!
