FS: 2000 Evo 6 Tommi Makinen Edition RS2
PRICE DROPPED: $23,000
2000 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI RS2 - Tommi Makinen Edition
First, let’s get this out of the way. This is not a Mirage conversion. It is a real Evo 6 TME RS2. Enough people have been in/over/under the car to vouch for it. There are no cuts, welds, etc. that would be obvious with such a conversion. I will send registration details to whoever requests them.
Imported and converted to left hand drive (est. 2001).
Includes all factory options:
PIAA fog lights
Power fold mirrors
Active Center Differential
Active Yaw Control
Antilag (removed)
Original gauge cluster in kph
Aftermarket parts include:
Cusco CF Strut Bar
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator
AutoMeter Boost Gauge
Greddy Fuel Pressure Gauge
APEXi Super AFC (used as a monitor since the Evo 8 ECU conversion was completed)
HKS Speed Limit Defencer
Stage 2 Competition Clutch
Evo 8 Flywheel
Samco Sport Recirculating Blowoff Valve
VIP Garage 2.5” Aluminum Upper IC Pipe
VIP Garage 3” Intake Pipe kit
VIP Garage Lower IC Pipe Kit
Evo 6 transmission rebuilt by AndrewTech
2nd-5th new synchros
New 4th gear
VIP Garage custom 3” Stainless Steel catback exhaust
Evo 8 550cc Fuel Injectors
JM Fabrications Stainless Steel Heat Shield
JM Fabrications Stainless Steel Spark Plug Cover
Zaklee clear timing cover
Evo 8 ECU w/ wiring harness mod for passing OBDII emissions check and allowing you to log/tune.
All four brake calipers removed, powder coated, and rebuilt
New Brembo decals
Hawk HPS brake pads
Brakes bled with ATE Super Blue
Valve Cover has been powder coated red
Exterior paint was buffed to like new (Dulles Auto Body)
All new graphics (original TME specs) applied by Justin of Redline Design
The interior is VERY clean and has the original TME Recaro seats. The floor mats are used and a couple of places on interior panels show signs of wear and age, but nothing major.
60k Service completed w/ the following notable items:
Greddy Timing and Balance Belt
OEM Tensioner
OEM Accessory Belt
BG Synchro Shift II Trans Fluid
Diaqueen Transfer Case and Differential Fluid
OEM Oil Filter
Mobil 1 10W-30 Synthetic
Coolant Flush and Fill
As you can tell from the pics, I have taken VERY good care of this car. I never tracked it (though previous owners claim they have). All of the work done to the car should negate any mechanical concerns as a result.
This is your chance to own a very rare vehicle indeed, some even call it “the” Evo. While there are a handful of Evo 6s in the US, this is the only left hand drive one I am aware of.

EVO6 TME is the ultimate EVO, I love every bit of that car and have been in various examples.
Although the ones I've been in were just TME. What does RS2 add/delete ? In other words, what makes it different then regular TME's ?
