I ask this as a 100% honest question - have you checked to see if the frame is straight? many Z8's have had defects causing the uppershock mounts to "fold" together, due to a flaw in the unibody design.
Has this one been affected?

Craigger thanks for the heads up, I have a great BMW guy and sent the car to him and he gave this car a thumbs up. He said typicaly its cars that have been pushed pretty hard. He said they didnt really build the chasis strong enough and under acceleration it buckles. I have the checkout for any customers if they want to see it.
