The angle & lighting don't do it justice, at all. I'm a Lotus fan through and through so I trust that it'll look great in real life.

However, I've got to say - Lotus making a 2+2 is rather comical. I remember laughing the first time I heard about the project.

Looks a lot like the still-born Lotus M250 from several years ago. Question becomes at around $80K is the power-to-weight, appearence and exclusivity good enough to entice Porsche, Corvette, etc. buyers. Look for super/turbocharged version in a year I bet!

Full press release is available on the Lotus clubs web site at Lotus, Ltd. - North America's Largest Lotus Car Club. Happy Motoring!

Exclamation

Well the official name is going to be 'Evora', production starts in december and production is expected to crank up to 1500 units by 2009. In 2010 Lotus expects to sell 3000 Evoras, mainly due to the market introduction in the US. Production will then settle at 2000 cars annually.

I kind of like the looks of it, I'd like to see some more pics of it to make a juste opinion about it, but it's a very interesting car. But what's up with the name Evora? Don't dig it at all..

But what I like are these words about the different models they're gonna build:
"and an ultra-high performance version"
