I agree - seeing it in a showroom/garage is one thing, but seeing it take up a lane (or two) on the road is a whole new sight to see.

 

I am kind of suprised that Condor, RufMD, Silversurfer, or et al don't have one in their stables.

was my favorite supercar when I was a kid

 

The silver one looks so incredibly modern to this day (with the exception of the interior). The shape really reminds me of the Saleen S7.

 

It would still put a serious hurting on most supercars today in a 200mph drag race.

 

My old roommate's cousin used to have 2 of the S models. One was black and the other was a pewter color. Really really hairy cars to drive. Lots of lag, lots of boost and insane top-end. Lousy and piggish at anything under 110 mph and not a very good handling car, but when you laid into it around 90mph, the boost would hit like a sledgehammer and with a couple shifts it would easily get up near 200mph.

 

Still one of my favorite cars of all time.

 

That orange 220S is insane, I've only seen the regular version on a few occasions; impressive car for sure.
