Aston Martin Releases New Vanquish Video & Images, Get Ready To Drool

The first official dynamic footage of the Aston Martin Vanquish is revealed in this exclusive new film. Captured on location in Italy with a striking 'Hammerhead Silver' model, this film explores the power, beauty and soul of our new flagship.

Unveiled to the public in June 2012, Vanquish represents a continuation of Aston Martin's tradition in producing some of the most beautiful cars in the world. Aston Martin says that the coupe model is capable of a 0-62 mph (100km/h) time of 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 183 mph (295km/h).

The Vanquish will be available as a 2+2 or 2+0 seater with first deliveries expected to begin in the UK and Continental Europe late in 2012, and in North America early next year.

Prices will start from roughly £189,995 in the UK, $279,995 in the United States, and CA$296,000 in Canada.

The voice of the narrator was about as impressive as the car. Gorgeous car. $300K is a little steep, but exclusivity comes at a high price.

Great looking car, more of a gentle evolution from previous cars though. I only hope they have abandoned the 'emotional control unit' and replaced it with a key. Until they take this bold design step, I can never buy a new AM.

Speaking to someone at AM recently, they were surprised that they've had quite a few requests for bare carbon, they're considering it as an option but making a test one for a wealthy Chinese customer.

That same car is going straight to AM Works to have the DBS manual gearbox fitted.
