Their pricing is completely out of whack. These guys have lost touch with their customer base ands think they can compete head on with Ferrari. Lol.
in a world where efficiency and weight savings are becoming ever more important, they go out and piu a v6 in their entry-level car. How about finding a different engine supplier for a new four banger? How about actually federalizing the Elise/Exige instead of relying on exemptions. Does that just smack of glorified kit car maker to anyone else?

I'm a huge lotus fan but I'm sorry everything the company has been doing for the ldt two years is completely insane. These guys will be posted on ****edcompany.com pretty soon if they don't turn the ship around.

They must have wanted to go in a direction and probably tried too many things at once.

The problem with lotus in general is that not many people are going to choose a lotus over many other cars. A track exige or something similar is what people pick over m3s. Yet how often do you hear people being stunned by a lotus.

Plus I have never understood why people are so impressed about making a tiny car so quick and responsive. Making a big car quick and responsive is something to be impressed by.

I hope they make it through stronger then before as it is a shame to see any sports car manufacturer go through very difficult times.
