Could anyboy enlarge on the turbine engines that might be used?
And how exactly are they implemented in the car?

I can't believe they're actually going to produce this car! Incredible!

I think they have to make it with the turbine to keep the 'wow' factor, especially with the new McLaren round the corner. It will be the most incredible car. Interestingly, Jim Randle, the man who developed the XJ220, has had a big influence on the development of gas-turbine powered cars.

Bladon jets are a British company that have developed the small jet turbins that will be used. These things are very cool. Check out their website here:

BladonJets Multi-fuel Micro Gas Turbine Engines

The jets will be attached to generators to supply electricity to the batteries. I saw the prototype at the FOS last year and it is a very nice looking car.

Great news as I thought this wouldn't happen! I wonder how loud they would be as micro turbines spin up to quite some speed Big kudos to Jaguar for going through with it.
