This DB4 has been carefully recreated in the original DB4 GT Zagato form and assembled with only the best of the best equipment by Desmond J. Smail Ltd. The engine has been built by Crossthwaite and Gardener with “new” factory twin plug DB4 GT cylinder head.
This DB4 is brand new in every way and look and drives as well, if not better than an original.

I'd be curious to see how much this goes for relative to what restored-to-original cars sell for. It's comparable in spirit to the Ferrari 330s that are re-bodied / period-correct hotrodded as GTOs. Is it worth more than if it was restored to original body? If so, how much? If not, how much?
Beautiful car though, and the bodywork must have been made with a lot of love!

If the car was restored to it's original DB4 body work it would be worth in the low 400's. The car in spirit is just like the original Zagato DB4 GT. It is built on a DB4 chassis with an exact replica body made by ex-Aston Martin Works Service people and the conversion of the engine to GT specifications is something that the factory could and would have done back in the day and continue to do so today. The asking on this particular car is $850k and the last known sale of an original Zagato went for several million dollars. They are fabulous looking cars!
