Jaguar Introduces XJ Sport and Speed Performance Packs

Jaguar introduces two exciting performance packs for the Jaguar XJ sedan at this year's Dubai International Motor Show. The Sport and Speed Performance Packs and can be fitted to the car together or separately, though for the ultimate XJ variant we'd recommend you add them both.

The Sport adds a number of good looking cosmetic aero bits, such as a splitter and lip spoiler at the rear, plus custom touches like a race-inspired black mesh for the front and lower grilles, red brake calipers, massive 20 inch five-spoke wheels, and finally new dual style exhaust tips.

“The XJ is much more than a limousine. Its power and potential mean it can out-perform many so-called sports cars. The new Sport and Speed Packs allow customers to enhance that sporting dynamism even further and create an XJ that looks as good as it drives,” says Ian Callum, Director of Design, Jaguar Cars.

Take a peak inside amd you'll notice lovely piano black trim with carbon fiber accents, and a set of Jaguar's Performance seats finished in soft-grain leather.

The Speed pack is all business, as it does away with the electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) allowing your supercharged Jag to reach a top speed of 174 mph (280 Km/h).

“A car capable of 174mph must have certain basic attributes – stability, aerodynamics, prodigious power and as little weight as possible. The XJ is blessed with all these qualities in abundance and with the addition of the Speed Pack it becomes an ever more impressive performance saloon,” says Mike Cross, Chief Engineer, Vehicle Integrity.
