Looks like a doozy. How do you all address all of the rust? cut out the panels and weld in new ones?

I love 60's Jags. Two-tone paint schemes look incredible on these babies.

We have ordered the replacement pieces and have started stripping the paint and old filler from previous ding repairs and multiple paint jobs. There are also some places where someone rivited patches in where we will now go in and weld in proper repair pieces. The car began life in a light blue color and was repainted a couple of times with the final THICK black. There is a ton of work on this rusty classic, but when we get done it will be a great addition to the owners collection.

Thank You.
I just hate seeing some of the work that I have had to repair and the shops call themselves restoration shops. I use filler only when absolutely necessary and never over anything except prepped metal or fiberglass. The Road Runner that we are doing was so full of filler and window screen it is not even funny. And not even the metal screen, it was the nylon stuff. This is what we love doing, restoring properly. We also enjoy the custom fabrication and modifying both classics and late models.
