That's not fiberglass. Not quite carbon fiber either, probably some lightweight composite in between.

And he understeered into that railing so bad it's actually funny.

edit - composite it is indeed. Haven't been able to find out exactly what it is.
The front wings are formed from composite while all four doors and roof are pressed aluminium and the rear quarter panels are steel.

surprised how badly damaged the car looked after what seemed to be a "light" accident judging from inside footage
Turning off TC was that bad? is the Rapide is that fast?

TC had nothing to do with the crash. He came in hot, and understeered into the barrier like a moron.

Just doesn't understand physics.

for the record I find some of the plastic on Porsche's pretty cheap as well!

I felt the center console and seat controls were directly out of a Ford. The buttons didn't feel expensive, say for example like a Bentley- their buttons and levers have a nice weight to them, and positive feel when pressed. Even the seat controls are very nice.

ON Porsche's side the seat controls, while now very dated, feel very nicely- and the silver/metal/finish on them is a nice touch.

Moving on to the way the door handle feels as well as the door opening- the handle feels cheap, too light. While the door it self doesn't close with a nice solid sound. While I enjoyed the leather inside, I felt it was disappointing- I wanted to feel that British level of 'exuberance' and detail- and I didn't. I guess my limited experience with something that has high levels of British detail- it feels warm, quality- substantial. And I didn't get that at all driving any of the Aston's in the past.

Does that make sense? Like, when you get in a German car, while they are engineer in a pricise manner, there is something 'cold' about them.

Personally I think the Rapide is gorgeous, sounds fvcking awesome.

The front fenders are a composite material, that guy should stikc to making surf boards, and not driving a car. He must have been going pretty fast to shear off the wheels.

What an idiotic pathetic man who's way to old for still trying to be a surfer and "cool dude". He just went way to fast into that exit. He must have been carrying some speed to rip the wheel off, or it just got stuck in the barrier somehow. Very sad to see people like this fvck around.
