Zagato’s take on an Aston Martin race car went down very well earlier this year. It wasn’t a final product, though. Oh no, that’s Aston’s star of the Frankfurt show – The V12 Zagato, displayed here in raw ‘just from the track’ race spec and a street version too.

And it’s a rather more involved special edition than Lamborghini’s somewhat lazy effort with the Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale. There you get a big wing. Here you get a full rebody by Zagato. No brainer.

So it’s a stunner, but will it go as well as a Zagato Aston should? Well, it’s got 510hp coming from a 6.0-liter V12 and it’ll hit 60mph in 4.2 seconds. So yes. Yes it will. Like the Lambo only 150 will be made, so you better get your order in quick.

Front looks great, but the rest of the car is a GTR roofline/window lines with a Ferrari FF rear end. Do not like.
