I can't get my head around this car. I get it is intended to fit between the DB9 and DBS, but I don't think there was room. It also, imo, resembles the DB9 too much. The Vantage, DB9, and DBS all have strong discernible body styles, but this blurs the gap between the DB9 and DBS too much. My two cents.

If someone could explain a different point of view that would be great.

I believe it is all about giving the customer more choice in there model line up. The Virage has a nice clean look about it, bigger Nav Screen, new updated Carbon Ceramic Brakes and the ride is vastly improved over the DB9, I like the Single Headlamp Housing that they have in the Rapide and Virage.

It is sort of the same thing Porsche is doing with there cars, Turbo, Turbo S and GT2 they all find there niche in the market place.

It's just the DB9 Facelift/mk2 imo.

Definitely one of the best looking cars out there today. It's just a pity that Aston Martin don't have enough money to make a full on DB9 replacement or do a V8 Vantage replacement. Instead, they spend their money on little upgrades making models like the Virage and the V8 Vantage S. And, although these cars are absolutely stunning - possibly even some of the best production cars out there - we all secretely know they are just another DB9 and V8 Vantage, and we really want a 'DB10' soon. With the same looks.
