Aston Martin Recalls 5 Models
#1

Source from LeftLaneNews
Since Ferrari's recall for the 458 catching on fire, more auto manufactures are paying CLOSE attention to their product this year.
As 2010 nears to conclusion, Aston Martin has announced its plans to call-back 1,090 of '07 -'08 models in the United States. Affected models include the DB9 Coupe, DB9 Volante, V8 Vantage Coupe, V8 Vantage Roadster and DBS built between the months March and September.
"The bolt that secures the front suspension arm could crack, increasing the risk of a crash" Aston Martin says. Dealers will replace the front suspension lower control arm cam bolts with new pieces that Aston Martin reports will not crack.
The faulty bolt came from a UK supplier and was installed on vehicles built only during that seven month period as stated above. Aston Martin assures us that less than 1% of all vehicles recalled have a defective bolt, but they are replacing them just to be safe. Contact an Aston Martin dealer for more info.
Recall notifications begin on or before October 18 reports say.
