I think the silhouette is good overall; some of the detailing is questionable. Still, it's a credible attempt to move away from the long hood, short deck DB7, Vanquish, DB9/DBS, V8 Vantage, One-77, etc. outline while still retaining a few AM cues.

This is an old concept rendering. I read an article some time ago that revealed that Aston was considering a mid engine Vantage instead of the current platform. The author said that was very similar to an Audi R8. I have never seen the image but I wonder if it was similar. I love the idea of a high revving V10 to bridge the gap between the V8 and other exotics.
