Could end up being a poor investment if thats the reason for buying them. Seems like the only logical reason to buy 10 is to flip most of them for profit and to get your name in all the papers. But I think if he tries to flip them he will be in the same boat as the Revengton Owners

That is pretty wild move, but nothing so uncommon for GCC buyers at all. Interesting if they really bought cars for the family or they will try to resale them after some time at a profit, which seems to be characteristic for GCC, they tend to buy cars for their own needs.

I really do not know if they it is possible to earn some cash on One-77s, jugding from other Astons drastic depreciation One-77 prices could drop easily after first deliveries and first test reviews, when buyers and potential buyers will finally understand that this thing is crazily overpriced. Also, there were talks among AM enthusiasts after Frankfurt auto show last fall that there were another buyer or group of buyers are responsible for placing pre-order on 25 units

 

I don't remember where I heard this but I'm pretty sure the guy mentioned in the article who bought two One-77s (one to hang on the wall as art) is Ralph Lauren.

 

No way he'll be able to flip them for a profit if he really payed $2.3 mil a pop.
