Its only going to be sold to Aston Martin owners only, as a tender to the Aston similar to yacht stuff. You've got a small tender and a big yacht. They want people to use this for a dd and let owners enjoy their proper aston in the weekend.

an insider told me 80% approval by aston martin owners.

See I don't find that believable at all unless the AM owners wanted to be politically correct when responding. I know two AM DB9 owners. The one guy DDs a LX570, his wife and son both have LX470s and his other son a GX470. When the first smart car came out he send me the pic of one in an accident where the owner did not make it, conveying his dislike for such vehicles. He lauhed at the Cygnet idea. Another person I know, I haven't asked him about it, but he DDs a RR autobiography and has a LR defender. I don't think the type ofpeople who have AMs want to downsize to a clown car for their driving, frankly I would be afraid to. And the tender analogy doesn't really fit. I am assuming this is a plan for AM to raise their MPG standards to either avoid fines (I am not sure if this is happening, not sure on the law), or to at least appear green for the public's approval. Either way, I guess I just hate to see them giving in. Best of luck on the project, but if I had an AM it would NOT have my approval.

Does one need to own another 'real' Aston to buy this?
