A $200K car !!

Right! So a full carbon fiber frame for 200K ! Wish it was true!

So why not $600+ ? I suspect it is easier for Ferrari or Porsche to
achieve that than Aston Martin. Maybe they have their own autoclaves.
But I am pleased that Aston is going to build at least one such car.

As far as some of the other comments are concerned, good looking
design IS a useful feature on a car. Many require a gain in performance
or technology as the minimum useful feature. But design is a very
usable feature on a car. You will get your money's worth out of it, more than
you will have the ability to go to some computer limited 250mph.
Personally, I prefer acceleration over top speed, as a more useful feature
as well. But I think innovative design is something I'd like to see
more of, as well as the mechanical attributes.

One-77 is to Aston as the Reventon is to Lamborghini. Way overpriced, too similar to the flagship to command a $1 million+ premium.

I could see this car selling at $650k. Not what they are asking for it...

I instantly fell in love with this car after seeing the first two pictures in this post. I hated the car before but the angle in the second picture makes it look unreal!

I can't decide if I like it. Irrespective of that, the price is just ridiculous.

It's not based on any current Aston model. The chassis and body panels are all CF and the engine is completely bespoke for this car. The level of engineering that has gone into this car is simply incredible. Then again, I think the Veyron is underpriced...

@Lumma: They are almost under the car and merged with the rear diffuser. Similar to the two "hidden" exhausts on the Bugatti Veyron.

Back on topic. Too much chrome, makes the car look tacky!
