how fast is the fastest ST0CK lotus?

they look like they weight 2000 pounds. how fast are they?

Cup Car - 0-60 mph in 3.8 secs
Exige S 240 - 0-60mph in 4 secs
Elise SC - 0-60mph in 4.4 secs

Bone stock the Esprit V8 will edge out an Elise SC at ~4.3 sec 0-60 (my testing), ~10.3 0-100.

Turn up the boost a bit and it's faster by a wide margin.

hey simba whats your take on a late model esprit vs exige 240S or new elise sc's on the track/twisites...handling characteristics, overall fun factor, etc...

On the track, with repeated flogging, the Exige will most certainly be more reliable and you won't really have to worry about breaking anything. The Esprit will hang with it, but I'd be worried about the gearbox taking as much a beating.

An Esprit with a revised gearset and a bit more boost is another matter entirely and should do everything the Exige does, about as well.
