In other news, I will readily sell my soul, two of my heart chambers, my family and the Eiffel Tower to have this car.
Nice to see a new AM steering wheel. The Volvo indicator stalks, not so nice.

Flame suit on:
Interior looks rushed. Look at those blobby shapes for the air vents! WHAT were they thinking. If I were buying one of these, I would want significant creative license with the interior to fix/change/disguise these issues. Besides, it's not like you can hit up suncoast, jlevi, etc. for upgrades.

I've never felt so conflicted about a car, ever. On one hand, I love that Aston Martin has essentially built a car with no compromises along the lines of what McLaren did with the F1.
But...ultimately how is it executed?
In my opinion it possibly has the best looking ass of any car ever made. The engine and suspension are just as near to perfection as they come, and the overall package is quite unique and full of details that any car enthusiast would enjoy discovering for years to come. But some details are not only less, but far less attractive to me than those found in the Vantage(especially the V12 Vantage), DB9 & DBS. The front three-quarters of the car are not as attractive as the "lower" models. The interior is horrible. I find that the other Aston models' interiors, though lacking bits made out of solid metals and the bespoke materials to be more cohesively put together...less artistic but this does seem "rushed together" too much for me.
All of that engineering and special materials would actually have to add up to some sort of performance advantage for me. Although this car is not meant to be a full blown track special but more of a performance/luxury GT - at a price near the Veyrons' - I guess I'll wait to "see what she'll do" before I make a final judgement.
Overall, I do like it, just not enough to warrant buying a One-77 instead of a garage full of the following even if I had the money: a DBS, a V12 Vantage, an Audi R8 V10, a GT2, a LP560-4, a Scuderia, a ZR1, and oh...a nice private aircraft. And a nice boat, a snowmobile, a nice round the world vacation, a...
