SPY VIDEO: 2013 Aston Martin DBS
Now this is one amazing sounding rumble!
Our Teamspeed spies are still cranking out the goods and as luck would have it they have filmed for us 007's new ride in silver, completely undisguised, except for a little camo tape here and there. The exhaust note from the V-12 is nothing short of, dare we say orgasmic! Just wait till you hit the 2.09 minute mark as the new DBS takes to the ring, you'll agree with us.
As we have previously reported Aston Martin will launch six new models over the coming six years, most being evolutionary successors to existing models in the Aston line-up. Some though are all-new, and the most important of these new models, the successor to the DBS, will reportedly arrive in 2013.
As our exclusive video shows, styling will to be traditional Aston, with elements of the Rapide to appear also: the new headlights and the bumper-mounted number plate for example.

I noticed a couple of things. First it would seem that there is tape over the inner edge of the tail lights. You can see the traditional inserts as opposed to integrated look of the AM 310. So it looks like hat will stay. Then the hood vents have a more traditional look and shape vs the funky ones on the 310. What's interesting is the extension of the tape and camo on that area down to the middle of the lights. I wonder if there is something else going on under there. The DBS had a more aggressive hood, so it's possible that this mule has parts of both the new DBS and DB9. The front lip shows both the lip and lower spoiler in CF or at least the same color, so there is hope that we won't have that handle bar mustache look on the 310. At the same time there is no CF side skirts. Those can always go on later but it may be a clue that we are not necessarily seeing a vs a DB9 or a combination. The center brake light is part of the rear spoiler assembly. The AM 310 had a gap for airflow and the brake light was in the hatch mounted to the glass. Also, it's clear while the tails are red. AM has moved to clears for most if not all of the cars. So it would be odd to go back. It makes me think that there are a few spare parts in use. So I think that it is unclear as to what we are seeing but I think that we can safely assume that the AM 310 will not make it to production in it's exact form at the Concours.
