iTunes problems after upgrading to iOS5

I updated my 4G to iOS5 a couple of days ago and now my iTunes starts up automatically 15-20sec after I close it down. I close it again and it starts right back up. Whats up with that? I don't want iTunes running if I don't have my phone connected.

I'm assuming you've tried restarting the computer already? Simba also has a thread that outlines some other procedures like repairing disk permissions that may help.

You could also try reinstalling itunes by downloading it directly from here: iTunes 10.5
