Cool Pics: North Carolina BMW Mountain Drive

Hi fellas. Last weekend, I had a chance to do a short drive with some local BMW buddies from Hendrick BMW dealership in Charlotte. We took a ride through the Pisgah National Forest, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, and over to a route called The Diamondback (Blue Ridge Parkway, and NC 226A). This is great place to take that special someone on a little weekend drive. Look at the fall foliage. Rent a place at bed and breakfast... Just an idea for you local members!

Took some pics when I was out on the drive. It was foggy, and we hit a little precip, but loads of fun nonetheless! The sun even came out for a little while. Best driving roads I've ever been on. We were supposed to have some more BMWs (a couple E9X M3s and X5 50i M Sport), but they couldn't make it because of last minute plans. We have another drive planned for 9/18. It should be about 8 E9X M3's and myself. Can't wait!

Here is some more info: The Diamondback Motorcycle & Sportscar Route

Wishing I owned a 997 GT3 or Scuddy right about here.

Looks like a fun drive! Great cars to make the trip in too.

I almost forgot how gorgeous the E46 M3 was.
