Anyone as stupid as I am and got up at 6:30 to watch Rossi kick ass in Germany? I just found out the replay is at 5:00 central. Yeah, should have looked into that...

Yeah Stoner was absolutely taking advantage of Rossi's leg on two of those passes no doubt.

Stoner and Rossi was a good battle, with a non injured VR no doubt he would have hit a 1-2-3 finish for sure. But Dani was turning stupid times breaking his own record set in 09.

Thats is not a good statment Stoner set him up good in turn 13 a very typical Rossi set-up manuver well executed.
If Lorenzeo could not keep up with Dani pushing the Yamaha as hard as he was then Rossi would not have either. Dani rode with a crash or win attitude and he is a true super star. I love Rossi but he has contenders in Dani and Jorge. Think about it this way regarding the Stoner-Rossi battle, Yamaha is by far the best bike on the track followed by the Honda (VR raced for HRC and improved that bike and look what he has done for the Yamaha). The Duc is an altogether different story and the most challenging at the outer limits to contend and make the top 6 the bike has serious front end issues and it is a downright scary monster to handle. With VR next year they will get it tweaked up and that torque monster will be on top.

2 wins a year doesn't equal superstar in my eyes, this was the first time he battled for a win and while i'm impressed he has to ride like that a lot more consistently to convince me hes a true "alien".
I don't care who, but theres no way i'd be battling someone with a broken leg and 6 weeks off of a bike. Stoner needs to up the pace, he had it in quali then lost it sunday. No excuses for someone as good as him with a top factory bike. He admitted after Qatar that the bike had the pace to win but he changed his rhythm, crashed and the bikes been the issue(excuse) for him ever since.
