E30 plastic bumper conversion

E30 plastic bumper conversion
I was going to go for the M-Tech bumper that came on the last year of the E30 convertibles, but I am not too crazy about the side moldings, and it looks like even though they sell the install kits according to realoem, there are parts that you still need to figure out how to mount the bumper TO, and I just got lazy and said F this.
I got the plastic bumper conversion kit for 600 bucks for front and back perfect condition shipped. This is the whole thing with shocks, rebar, etc.
So in about 2 months from now my E30 will have the new bumper painted and installed.
Then, I can finally get rid of the unsightly metal bumpers.

Congrats! My first car was a 1988 e30 320i 4dr with the plastic bumpers, If you don't go the mtech2 route but like a beefier look, think about the Breyton kit. I had a Breyton front spoiler on my which I really liked, suits very well with the plastic orig bumper. Heres a pic I found on the net of the front spoiler. They also make sideskirts and rear valance. (not in pic)
