E30 MAF Mod Update
It is unblievable.
Probably one of the best $$$$ I have spent on anything.
The Miller MAF mod (Bosch core from Audi) makes the throttle so much more responsive, and still retain the good cable throttle linearity. I am glad BMW jacked up the price of their reman'ed (that's right, not even new) AFM to something ridiculous like over a grand, forcing me to look into a better solution.
If I ever get another BMW that uses AFM, this is the first thing that I will do.
Perfect idle even in cold (for LA) mornings.
And very noticeable power gain.
Next up is the 15" Nogaro Silber 4 lug OEM wheels to replace my 14" stockers since ES100 in this size is a goner, and basically no one makes grippy tires in 14" any more.
Still thinking about the M-Tech 2 versus regular plastic bumper conversion.
