Trading in SL55 for SL65
I currently have my '03 SL55 with which I am very happy. I look after it well (spend the money on maintaining it, have warranty, etc) and in return it is pretty reliable (I drive it daily to work in central london) and moreover it is a fantastic car.
I think it looks stunning, great colour and good modifications still have me standing back and admiring it every once in a while.
However, I have just seen a 2004 SL65 AMG up for sale from the main dealer for approx £30k (US$45k-US$50k). This seems like a fantastic deal to me, and it would come with a 12month warranty (which I could extend to 3yrs). They are going to bring the car to London for me to test drive, but can anyone give me any opinions about the switch?
I am always nervous to make a switch when already more than happy with what I have got... but an SL65 would be awesome!
So any opinions? The SL65 is silver which to me is a bit of a boring colour, so i'd need to get it wrapped or something I guess, but not too much trouble.

I honestly don't see that big of a difference between the two to justify the switch; considering you are happy with your current car.
I'd suggest driving one of your other cars to work for a while if the ones in your sig are current vehicles as well. There is nothing wrong with a 911 Turbo or an M3 either!

I will say, over the weekend I had a CLS55 AMG (most likely with a tune) keep up with me within a car length on the highway and I was thoroughly impressed. I can only imagine a SL65 with the TT V12....must be insane. I agree with these guys, drive both, decide which to keep.
