Wow, lots to say. First off: I want a mustache like that tall guy in the middle! Lol, only joking.

That color is wicked. It's not something I'd necessarily pick out for my own car, but it sure grabs the eye, as does that front grill.

I'll be interested to see what the curb weight is, especially with a 1200lb collection of batteries. I would expect the stated 30% weight savings is in comparison to the bare aluminum chassis. I'd like to see how extensive the carbon fiber treatment is. Does it extend through the sub-structures? And who is claiming it handles better than the gas counterpart? AMG? If it's 3 tenths slower to 60 despite a 160hp advantage... Well we'll just have to wait and see. Furthermore, 730+lbs of torque! I wonder how that will feel out of an electric car vs a gas one.

I'm cool with the price. I can't afford one, but you gotta pay to play and MB is with the leaders (if not at the front) of the electric sports car game. BUT, 150 mile range!? Not to mention 20hrs of charging time!? Considering you don't have a gas option like the 918 does, or F70 will, those two statistics are a bit disappointing. Albeit, this is some new stuff we're dealing with. I wonder how much faster AMG's "quick charge" will be.

I see two advantages of these future electric sports car (other than reducing oil consumption, which is arguable because electricity itself takes a lot of energy to produce). One, nothing fun to see under the hood means they [hoods] can be done away with, thus opening up aerodynamic options and reducing shut-lines to enhance aesthetics. Two, and more importantly, the weight can be placed way lower in the chassis and distributed more favorably because battery designs can be played with.
