David Coulthard doesn’t need any introduction, and neither does the bad-to-the-bone Merc SLS GT, but a video of David on the ring with the new AMG is always a nice watch over your morning cup of java.
The new mighty AMG SLS GT if fitted with 20hp more than the "standard" SLS, features a re-worked suspension consisting of stiffer springs and dampers, helping the new SLS to throw down a 5 second reduction of its Ring lap time.
The SLS AMG GT accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, and can reach a speed of 200 km/h in 11.2 seconds. Visually, the GT gets darkened headlamps and tail lights as well as red-painted brake calipers.
In the above below, the AMG ambassador Coulthard explains us a few things about the SLS GT, before sticking his foot to the floor on the track, which results in one heck of an intoxicating sound to boot!
